Ok, so I haven't written here in like over two years. It's funny how the internet is... these things just hang around, they keep getting hits and there's always a way to get back into your account.

I just moved out on my own. What I believed was almost impossible (omigod Lomelin wants a fiador) has happened. Asi como si nada.

I've learned to recognize that... that´s how life is. The cool shit always seems out of reach, something that other people do, but not you. But that's not true. Things just look like that. Once you make a plan, start working out things step by step, you eventually come to a point where you did what you thought was impossible.

Instead of looking towards the future thinking "Gawd... how can I do that? I really want that but it's so haaaaard... ", you're looking back in time thinking "Huh! I did that. That's all done. I accomplished exactly what I wanted... "

Then you start thinking... "So... what's next? "

I've been back at work. This is part of my new collection - La Colección Verde. It's all about being beautiful, brillant and natural.

Over the past year or two, green has become a really attractive color to me. Which I thought was strange, since I never used to like green before. Now I love it.

Also, I love SILK. I've been really into the texture and shimmer of it for a while, and I finally decided to make a collection based on and inspired by green, using silk. TA DAAAA!

Amazing... !!!

Okay, I was in Long Beach CA for a month for the holidays, I was bummed out ‘cause exercising was much more difficult there then I had expected – too much fun! I was living up fast food and friends…

I vowed that as soon as I got back to Mexico DF, I would immediately get back to my exercise plan.

The night I arrived, my roomie and I went to the corner store for beer. Much to my amazment, they have just opened a BRAND NEW GYM THERE!!! A block from my house!!!

I turned around and came back, and paid for a month of spinning classes. I am so happy. I have been feeling fat – yes, I gained a bit, and now I can get right back on track, 3 minutes from my house!!!!

Clutter in my Brain

Hi! Welcome HOME!!! Bwahahahahahaaaaaaaa.... !!!

This is my old home. In the past 6 years that I've been out of the house, things have deteriorated greatly. Now I certaintly didn't do much when I lived here - I was a lazy 25 year old.

Now I'm a responsible, thrifty 31 year old and each time I arrive here my eyes and mind are overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of STUFF my parents OWN!!!

I have forbidden my mom to buy anymore candles. And I'm taking some home with me. She'll never know. Never ever. I swear to you..

I'm still doing it... !

I’ve been living in Mexico City for 3 years.

I’ve learned amazing things, about myself and life and people. I’ve had great experiences.

I refused to say I was going there “to find myself… ” – I would never have wanted to sound so cliche! – but that’s EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!!!

I found myself!!!!

I LOVE the person I am now, inside and out, and it shows in everything I do!!!

I still live there – I have a few more wonderful things on my list to accomplish there – like falling in love, running my own business, etc.

¡¡¡Ya no me van a decir gordita... !!!

Hace 2 semanas empecé una dieta - La Dieta South Beach. Ya no como azucar, y por dos semanas no comí pan ni starches, ni nada de crap.

Como carne baja en grasa, y muchas verduras. Y frijoles, y leche light. Ah, y mas verduras.

Me siento maravillosa, y en 2 semanas he bajado 5 kilos!!!



Y, anoche, tuve mi primera clase de spining. Ahora estoy un poco dolorida, pero en una semana o dos me acostumbraré.

Two weeks ago I started the South Beach Diet. Now I don't eat CRAP. I eat lean meat, veggies, and more veggies. Also, I eat beans everyday, and milk, and this week I'm starting to introduce other carbs - I ate an apple yesterday!!!

I've lost about 12 lbs so far.

Oh, and I just started spinning classes last night!!! Wow!! My butt hurts!!!

My roomate and I are working on starting tourguide business...

Underground DF - we would take you to all the "underground" spots in DF, for a fee, for night. It would be a pretty simple package - we take you to the places you wouldn't find on your own, and you pay us.

Anyone interested? Or have any ideas?
